Rancho Ecologico Sol De Mayo
The experience begins with a scenic drive into the Sierra de la Laguna, where the coastline slowly gives way to desert mountains, cactus forests, and quiet ranch communities hidden inside Baja California Sur. At Fox Canyon, the hike follows rocky paths and canyon sections leading toward the Sol de Mayo waterfall. Without the pace of a larger group, the route feels quieter and more connected to the landscape itself — footsteps echo through the canyon while freshwater pools appear between granite rock formations. Once at the waterfall, the experience naturally slows. Some guests swim beneath the falls, others relax beside the water while listening to the canyon around them. Later, lunch at a local Baja-style restaurant completes the day before the return drive back through the desert scenery of Baja Sur.
