We get to see the fortifications, bastions, Old mosques, ruined barracks, Deccan rock formations, ruined palaces, ancient temples, Durbar Halls, open-air theatres, etc. We climb up more than 300 steps to reach the top of the fort to have a bird's eye view of the surroundings. Here we are going to see the Tombs of the Kings, their family members, courtesans, royal physicians, funerary mosques, step wells, arches, domes, and minarets built in beautiful Islamic architecture of the medieval period built by the Sultans of Qutb Shahi Kingdom of Golkonda. Qutb Shahi's are one among five Deccan Sultanates who influenced Socio-Cultural scenario of this region in the Deccan. After this visit it takes another 30 to 40 minutes to reach your hotel.
