Materuni is one of the highest waterfalls in the Mount Kilimanjaro region. The beautiful trail leading to the falls winds through valleys and hills covered in rainforest, past coffee, banana and avocado farms. On a clear day, it offers magnificent views of the Kibo volcano and the city of Moshi. Once you reach the waterfall, you will have free time to enjoy the views and take a swim.

Swimming in the bowl of the waterfall after trekking is refreshing and invigorating, and the falling noisy and shimmering streams invariably cause elation and an enthusiastic mood. The main crop grown here is coffee. On the tour you can learn everything about coffee, from the growing process to the moment when the coffee is finally poured into the cup. You will be able to participate in the coffee production process, after which you will enjoy your own cup of fresh coffee.
