The guide and vehicle will pick you up at the center of Hue City. Begin the journey north along National Highway 1A toward the DMZ – the former Demilitarized Zone that divided Vietnam for over 20 years.07:00
Stop at La Vang, a major Catholic pilgrimage site in Vietnam, believed to be the place where the Virgin Mary appeared in the late 18th century during a time of religious persecution under King Canh Thinh (Tay Son Dynasty).07:40
Continue the journey to Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, this was the site of the fierce 81-day battle in the summer of 1972 between the Liberation Army of South Vietnam and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. Now a memorial cemetery, it is the final resting place of thousands of unidentified soldiers – a solemn symbol of sacrifice and loss during wartime.08:00
On the Hien Luong Bridge – 17th Parallel tour, visitors will explore the historic site that once marked the temporary division between North and South Vietnam under the 1954 Geneva Accords. The bridge witnessed intense psychological warfare, including propaganda loudspeakers, flagpole height contests, and even competing bridge colors. Guests can also see symbolic relics such as the white demarcation line, dual flagpoles, and the war museum, offering a deeper understanding of this divided era.10:00

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site, Phong Nha Cave is famous for its longest underground river in Southeast Asia, its breathtaking stalactite and stalagmite systems formed over millions of years, and its role as a shelter and supply base for the Liberation Army during the war. You’ll board a motorized boat along the Son River and travel 1.5 km into the cave, where your guide will share fascinating insights into its geology, formation, and historical importance.16:00
End of Tour Guests will be transferred to one of the following locations: • Dong Hoi – city center, train station, or airport • Phong Nha – for those staying overnight • Or return to Hue upon request
