Bernini and the Barberini at Palazzo Barberini from 12 February to 14 June 2026, marks the 400th anniversary of St. Peter’s consecration and focuses on Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s influence on the Roman Baroque art movement.

The exhibition highlights his early relationship with his first major patron, Maffeo Barberini (Pope Urban VIII), through sculptures, family portraits, and rarely shown paintings.
