Next we’ll arrive in my home village, San Dionisio de Ocotopec. My mother will greet us with a delicious, traditional lunch. After a rest, we can visit the lovely town center to get a feel for daily life in this small Zapotec pueblo. Our tour ends with an (optional) stop at a mezcal distillery. We’ll experience the artisanal process of producing this pre-Hispanic drink as well as a mezcal tasting.
