8 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe will pick you up at your Hotel Lobby to start this tour Marvel at contacting one of the most impressive reserves in the region in this Excursion to the Celestun Ecological Reserve from Merida. On this one day trip we will depart from your hotel towards: A wildlife refuge located 96 km from Mérida towards the west, this fishing port, apart from having beaches with crystal clear waters, is an Eco - Tourist paradise. The national park of Celestun keeps an exceptional landscape which is part of the Biosphere Reserve of the same name, it will take a boat trip (1:30 hours) in which you will discover impressive mangroves, the Isla de los Pájaros, the lagoons of Valeosera and Quinitun. In this reserve live impressive species such as white-tailed deer, armadillos, crocodiles, tigrillos, turkeys, ducks and many birds, the main attraction is watching pink flamingos, the eye of fresh water and abundant vegetation. At the end you will get back to your hotel. Boat ride fee is not included.

The name of Chichen Itza is derived by the Mayan words “Chi” mouth “Chen” Hole, “Itza” The name of the region. This site is divided in three areas, the north group (Toltec), central group (the early period) and the known as El Viejo Chichen (The old Chichen). We will be visiting the first two groups.
