Our guide, Paul, is very experience and humorous. It's a great day out to experience the ancient city of Ayutthaya away from the shopping and massages which is famous in Bangkok. The visits to the different temples are well plan and we were given enough time to walk around an take pictures.

I really enjoyed this tour, and our guide Sam was excellent. He provided a great mix of historical and cultural references throughout the day and he helped us to take some great photos. There was plenty of time at each site to explore and take photos, and the lunch was tasty with some good Thai staples. While this isn't an in-depth tour, it was just right for me and we were back at our dropoff in Bangkok before 3pm. There were 14 ppl (including me) for the English tour, with transport via a small bus. There were also German and Japanese groups that traveled in smaller vans. Note that the reclining Buddha site was recently restored, but there's nothing else at this site and it's not nearly as nice as similar statues in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Fortunately we didn't stay at this site very long.
