Start your day with an official Alcatraz Island visit, departing from Pier 33 with Alcatraz Cruises. Enjoy a 2.5-hour self-guided audio tour of the prison, hearing stories about notorious inmates like Al Capone and “Birdman” Robert Stroud. Your ticket includes round-trip ferry service, access inside the cellhouse, an orientation video, and a multilingual audio headset for a fully immersive experience.

After returning from Alcatraz, walk to our nearby bike shop to pick up a comfortable electric bike, fitted with a front handlebar bag for your camera, rear gear rack, and takeaway map. Receive a brief orientation and e-bike fitting before setting off on a self-guided ride along the San Francisco waterfront. Follow scenic paths past Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina, the Presidio, Crissy Field, and Fort Point. Many riders continue across the Golden Gate Bridge to Vista Point or Sausalito, where ferries can bring you back to the city.

With a full day of e-bike use, you have the freedom to explore at your own pace, enjoy breathtaking views, and experience San Francisco in a unique and active way.

E Bikes ages 13 & up, under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. Guest must bring one credit card and ID per booking party. Closed-toed shoes and a light jacket are recommended as San Francisco has varying micro-climates.

Boats depart from Pier 33. Arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before your departure. All riders’ names must have been submitted with booking. Riders MUST present ID at tour time.
