​The Vlădeasa Mountains represent the northernmost segment among the three prominent central massifs of the Western Transylvanian (Apuseni) Mountains. Spanning approximately 50 kilometers, the primary ridge of the Vlădeasa massif features the impressive Vf. Vlădeasa, standing tall at 1836 meters. This summit ranks as the third-highest point in the Apuseni Mountains. Our adventure spans 80 kilometers, leading us to the quaint Rogojel Village. Before our hike kicks off, we'll take a brief pause at the Sequoia tree. Here, amidst authentic wooden houses, the enduring traditions of Romanian culture are on display. The trek commences from Rogojel village, a 2-hour hike guiding us to the Vladeasa Chalet, where a delightful Romanian picnic awaits. Following the break, our exploration continues with a 2-hour ascent to Vladeasa Peak.
