The class is held in a quiet residential area of Sapporo, offering a glimpse into everyday Japanese home life.
The studio is about 15 minutes by car from Sapporo Station and within walking distance of popular sightseeing spots such as Hokkaido Shrine and Maruyama Zoo. The neighborhood is also known as a stylish and pleasant area.

Seafood Sushi Rolls, Tempura & Matcha Experience in Sapporo 10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. A short introduction to the class and Hokkaido’s food culture. 10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Hands-on cooking and tasting. 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Matcha experience with traditional Japanese sweets. In this class, you will make seafood sushi rolls using fresh seafood and cook crispy tempura. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal together. Then, you can experience matcha with traditional Japanese sweets. What You’ll Learn • How to make beautiful seafood sushi rolls • How to cook crispy tempura • The spirit and basic ideas behind Japanese tea culture Classes are held in small groups of 2 to 3 people, so you can relax and enjoy a homely atmosphere.
