I recently tried a Seine River cruise, and while the view from the cruise was undoubtedly beautiful, the overall experience was underwhelming. There was no audio guide or commentary to explain the buildings or landmarks we passed, which left us guessing about the significance of what we were seeing. The food was disappointing, and the service felt rushed, as the servers seemed more focused on quickly serving than creating an enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, I purchased tickets for two adults despite traveling with a 13-year-old child. Without asking, they replaced one champagne with juice, even though I would have preferred to have both glasses of champagne that I paid for. Overall, I feel that a stroll along the Seine or a hop-on/hop-off bus tour would be a much better way to enjoy the sights of Paris than taking this cruise.
