This is the oldest neighborhood of Athens, what was actually a "built over night" neighborhood by its residents, the talented marble restorers of the ancient monument of the Parthenon and the Acropolis. Travel back in time, through the narrow streets that only a motorcycle can pass by. This neighborhood took its name from the island of Anafi. This is a picturisque neighborhood outside the common tourist map. We will share with you stories of the neighborhood while riding in narrow streets that ressemble a cycladic istand. About 65 residents live in this Acropolis neighborhood, in a scene that reminds of Mykonos. Narrow streets, white small houses with bougainvilleas and geraniums give a special color to the area. What the older ones considered a "poor man's paradise" that spoiled the aesthetics of the city today is a romantic spot that only a few are aware of. We will stop for photos.Plaka
