[Important Notice] * For Left-Handed Individuals This class is based on Japanese tradition and culture. The Samurai experience is designed for right-handed individuals. Left-handed individuals are welcome to participate, but please refrain from excessively emphasizing your left-handedness or attempting to have the experience adapted for left-handed users, as this may inconvenience other participants. During this experience, you will receive a lecture on Japanese swords, learn KATA (slashing forms), practice sparring, and try out bows and arrows, as well as try slashing with a mock sword. You slash multiple targets while moving, which is very difficult to do. Please experience the difficulty! Upon arrival at the dojo, you will receive a short lecture and change into training wear. In the iai lesson, you will learn how to handle and swing the mock sword. In the gekken lesson, you will learn the timing of attack and defense, and spar with a moch sword. There is also an activity where you can check the blade line with mock sword. Please enjoy try test cutting! You can also try out a bow, which was the main weapon of the samurai 1000 years ago.
