Kayangan Lake itself is a mix of about 70% freshwater and 30% saltwater. The water is remarkably clear and the underwater rock formations are quite a sight to see, making it a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts. The lake is surrounded by majestic limestone cliffs that provide a stunning backdrop to the serene waters.

The turquoise water of the lagoon is both salty and chilly, owing to its mixture of warm sea water and cool freshwater that comes from an underground source. This produces a peculiar thermocline effect, where you can feel warm sea water on the surface and colder freshwater underneath.

As the name implies, Coral Garden is a vibrant and expansive underwater field of coral formations. The area teems with a colorful variety of hard and soft corals that provide habitat for an array of marine life. The site is home to a vast diversity of fish species including clownfish, butterfly fish, parrotfish, angelfish, and many others. With crystal-clear waters, the visibility here is typically excellent, allowing snorkelers and divers to witness the bustling aquatic life in detail.

The beach is relatively small, but it's a great place to relax and enjoy the clear turquoise waters and soft white sand. The area is fringed with mangrove trees, which give it a serene and tropical feel. CYC Beach offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling as well, with a vibrant marine life to explore just a short distance from the shore. You can find a variety of fish species, colorful corals, and sometimes sea turtles in the nearby coral reefs.
