Verona is the monumental, charming stage on which William Shakespeare set one of his major works: "Romeo and Juliet", a tragic story of love and loss that, still today, calls thousands people in this city, to follow the footsteps of the two protagonists.
This private tour will allow you to discover the places where the story could habìve taken place, according to the tradition, and surely to breathe the enchanting atmosphere that Verona has kept from the Renaissance age to our days. Starting from the well known house of Juliet, you will move to Romeo's house, standing close to the amazing Arche Scaligere, the monumental tombs of the ancient lords of Verona. The tour will end in a former monastery, where you will reach the place where the young heroine may have rested in peace.

30 minsAdmission Ticket IncludedActually belonged to the Veronese family Capuleti (even though the correct spelling would be Cappelletti), mentioned by Shakespeare in his most famous tragedy, this mansion went under a deep refitting during the first half of the 20th century. This was meant to bring it back to a possible Renaissance style, since the palace appearance at the end of 19t century was completely different, more similar to a balcony house. Today, the interiors host a collection of antique engravings, pieces of furniture and costumes used in the movie by Franco Zeffirelli. In the courtyard, you can admire the magnificent bronze statue of Juliet by Nereo Costantini that has become the symbol of Verona.Arche Scaligere(통과)
