1 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeTraveling by car to Etna we will pass through several unknown villages where we could admire the customs, food and untouched nature of several local people who have been living in these places for several generations. Arrived at an altitude of 6000 feat we will visit the southern part of the Silvestri Craters starting a fluctuating path with a panoramic view of the Ionian coast. It is possible to take the cable car and the bus of the same company to reach an altitude of 9500 ft. Tickets not included. It is also possible on request make a stop in a local winery, have a winetasting with a light lunch (to be paid extra).Giardini Naxos

3 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe continue our journey towards Taormina, making a stop at Piazza Belvedere to admire the splendid Isola Bella Nature Reserve. Afterwards you will have 1 hour and a half to devote to visiting the historic center of Taormina, the Greek Theater, the main street Corso Umberto adorned with churches, shops and squares with panoramic views. At the end back to the place you requested.

For the tour, it’s a 3/5 for the following reason: 1. False advertising that it is to/fro from Catania. The operator charged an additional 120 Euros for to/fro from CTA airport. (We made a day trip to Sicily for the Mount Etna) 2. The additional charge above was only informed a day before our flight arrival or the tour date. Whilst the option to cancel was given, it was too late for us to either cancel our flight to CTA or make alternate plans as we are on the road when an email message was given 3. The operator could have informed at least 6 months earlier as we booked the tour in Oct 2024 for a tour in Aug 2025. For the transfer driver and guide Ricardo, we give him a 5/5 stars as he was on time, very friendly and introduce many interesting people, food and fun facts about Mount Etna. He made up for the bitter taste of the operator (Danilo) bad communication. We this young man can work for a better boss..
