Starting at Alameda Travessia - Savassi, enter your 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message into the free Explorial app and set off on a self-guided trail through Belo Horizonte's cultural heart. At the Edifício Niemeyer, crack the puzzle behind this 1954 Oscar Niemeyer masterpiece — the curved building that anchored BH's reputation as a city of modern architecture. From there the trail winds to the Palácio da Liberdade, the stately former seat of government set in a manicured park, where you'll learn about the movements that shaped the state of Minas Gerais. The route finishes at Alameda Travessia in the Praça da Liberdade complex, a tree-lined boulevard that brings together museums, cultural centres, and the energy of one of Brazil's busiest public spaces. The whole experience takes around two hours — start whenever you like and move entirely at your own pace.
