—NARA IKIMONO MUSEUM—
The NARA IKIMONO MUSEUM is an experiential museum based on the concept of
'observing creatures at eye level with zero distance.' It primarily features
reptiles such as lizards and chameleons, while also showcasing various fish
and amphibians. The museum uses original lighting and artistic design to
highlight the colors and personalities of the creatures, allowing you to go
beyond just 'seeing something cute' and instead observe the unique personality
and behavior of each animal to find your personal favorite.
If you choose the dual-museum ticket, you can also visit the NARA KINGYO
MUSEUM, which creates an immersive exhibition space
using goldfish and light art, perfect for photos. Experience two completely
different exhibition styles—'up-close observation of diverse creatures' and an
'artistic goldfish exhibition'—to make your itinerary even more enriching.
