Coral Island, known locally as Koh Hey, is an absolute paradise only ten kilometers south of Phuket. It’s a beautiful getaway destination, good diving, and snorkeling spots. Snorkeling here is well suited to novice snorkelers and children as you can swim to the shallow reef from the beach. The island is surrounded by coral reefs and has two long stretches of white sand. Unfortunately the snorkelling experience was too short. It was only 30 minutes. The water was pretty murky and dirty for snorkelling. Parasailing was really fun, wished it was longer. The wait for the ferry in Kahung beach was way too long. After lunch, we still had 2 more hours to kill. As there were no fans or air condition in the holding area, it made the wait unbearable as temperature was at 34 degrees celsius. I feel the package can be cut short to just 4 hours to make it more efficient.
