Highlights

Located on the nearby Juatinga Peninsular Eco-reserve, the Saco do Mamanguá, Brazil’s only tropical fjord, is a unique marine ecosystem and tropical paradise. On this private, full-day tour, we set out from Paraty by fastboat to the fjord. We hike up Mamanguá Sugarloaf Peak (425m) with an English speaking local guide for incredible views of the bays and the Rainforest covered mountainsides and on the way back you stop at the beach for lunch at a restaurant and a swim.
Itinerary
Sugarloaf Peak (Mamanguá)
On this boat tour we hike up the Mamangua Sugarloaf peak for the best views in the region. After meeting the English speaking guide on the pier in Paraty we take a fastboat to Mamangua, Brazil's tropical fjord. From Cruzeiro beach we start the steep hike up the Mamangua Sugarloaf peak. It takes about 1 hour 20 minutes to hike up. After hiking down there is time for swimming, relaxing and lunch (not included in price) on Cruzeiro beach. We return to Paraty by fastboat with time for a quick swim at a beach or island on the way!
