Haifa is the third-largest city in Israel, with 285 000 inhabitants.
Its history starts with Tel Shikmona in 1700 B.C., and Haifa is mentioned in the Talmud but became important with the building of the modern port in the 20th century by Great Britain. It is the capital of the Israeli north and the world center for Bahai religion.
Acre has as well at least 4000 years of history, but we will focus on the time it was the capital of the second crusader state and the last place to fall against Muslims. After it, the crusader history in the Holy Land ended. All crusader orders: Hospitalers, Templars, Teutons, etc., were located in Acre.
