An incredible underworld exists just outside of Granada! Rappel into an ethereal environment that few get to see. This beautiful cave is located between the ancient provinces of the Spanish Civil War, the Cubillas marsh and the Parapanda, Elvira and Sierra Nevada mountains. You'll be picked up from the Granada city center and driven to the quaint municipality of Atarfe. There, you'll meet your guide and get familiar with the equipment. There's no need for previous caving experience or technical knowledge. Your guide will help you learn everything you need to know. You'll hike over rocky terrain to the entrance of the Cogollos Cave, where you'll begin a route that includes rappelling, sliding, and navigating a few narrow passageways. Go at your own pace and feel secure knowing you'll be under the watchful guidance of an instructor throughout the trek. Marvel at views of stalactites, stalagmites and jagged rock formations along the way. This underground realm never ceases to amaze its explorers.  After exploring the cave, you'll enjoy a relaxing tea or coffee with muffins and snacks and be returned to the city center.
