Learn about the rich traditions of Modena and discover the differences between the two types of balsamic vinegar: the IGP Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and the DOP Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Though they may sound similar and both are delicious, they are distinctly different products—let’s explore why!

    I viaggiatori visiteranno un'antica acetaia famigliare. L'acetaia è situata all'ultimo piano della casa della famiglia, un luogo nel cuore della campagna emiliana tra Modena e Bologna. I visitatori scopriranno gli usi, le tradizioni, i processi per fare l'Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena dop. Conosceranno quindi perchè i modenesi amano così tanto questo prodotto e, alla fine della spiegazione, lo assaggeranno nei diversi invecchiamenti. Scopriranno il suo gusto intenso, equilibrato ed il suo profumo unico!

A dedicated guide will walk you through the tasting of 5 different balsamic vinegars of various ages, as well as balsamic pearls, saba, and a wine vinegar. Before the tasting begins, we always welcome our guests with an espresso, tea, and a slice of homemade cake.
