Place recognized by the surrounding mountain that offers a spectacular landscape

Built on an old hermitage. The monastery was built due to the religious influence of the place, thanks to the continuous pilgrimages that pay homage to the Virgin of Montserrat. The monastery is currently being renovated, due to its destruction as a result of Napoleon's invasion in Spain, so many artistic and architectural elements of the sanctuary are from modern dates.

Popular name by which the local virgin is known: Mare de Déu de Montserrat. This sanctuary is carved inside a cave, and according to legend it was there that the virgin was found.
