After a pleasant drive through the beautiful countryside we will reach Trakoscan - most famous and best preserved Croatian castle. Castle was first built in the late 13th or early 14th Century as a small defensive fortress. Complex of Trakošćan we have today, a romanticist synergy of architecture and nature, is a result of 19th century. Castle was reconstructed in neo – gothic style and surrounding landscape including a lake emerged after the model of English park. You will see a valuable collection of paintings, furniture and weapons and enjoy walking around the picturesque surroundings of the castle.Restaurant, winery and pension "Vuglec Breg"
2 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAfter the castle you will explore centuries old tradition of wine-growing and wine-making at ''Vuglec Breg''. A visit to the wine-cellar is a special experience for every guest and enjoyment in wine-tasting will bring a smile of delight to the lips of every wine enthusiast. After the wine tasting you can have lunch in a traditional restaurant serving seasonal and homemade products from the region of Zagorje (Lunch is optional).
