Highlights
On this Medieval Montenegro tour, you will visit the never conquered old royal capital of Montenegro, Cetinje, and learn about its heritage and interesting way of life. You will be taken to the Falcon heights of the Lovćen Mountain and National park that played a great historical role in shaping key events in Montenegro. Abundantly rich in flora and fauna, Lovćen is an important reserve for many of Montenegro's native bird species, and around 1200 varieties of plants. On the second highest top of Lovćen you can find the highest mausoleum in the world dedicated to Petar II Petrovic Njegos, a famous Montenegrin leader and poet from 19th century.

30 minsAdmission Ticket IncludedWhen we reach ‘Lake Peak’, the second highest peak on Mountain Lovcen we will visit the mausoleum that is the burial place of our most famous poet, country and church leader Archbishop Petar II Petrovic Njegos. Keep in mind that to reach the top of the mausoleum you need to walk up to 461 stairs, but the climb is absolutely worth it! You will get to see and understand its great historical background and treat yourself to a remarkable 360 degrees view on Montenegro.
