Ostrog Monastery was built in the 17th century. It was founded by the Herzegovinian metropolitan Vasily, who was buried there in 1671, and later canonized. St. Vasily Ostroški is known as the Saints Wonderman. Believers of all religions from different parts of the world visit this monastery in large numbers, and for the citizens of Montenegro, it is the greatest sanctuary. The monastery is in third place when it is a word about visits in the Christian world, immediately after Christ's tomb in Jerusalem and the Holy Mountain in Greece.

Monastery Ždrebaonik (1920) for centuries it was the center of all events. Tribal councils and important decisions were made there. His fate was also the fate of his people. Today it is a women's monastery.

Not far from Podgorica, on the road to Bar, in the caves that have been built for many years, merging with the natural environment and hidden from the eyes of passers-by, is the monastery Dajbabe, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin.
