Mexican Art Class is a bilingual class in english and spanish. You can choose Portrait, Full Figure, Still Life or Landscape. We explore Pre Hispanic beauty and aesthetics from a historical/cultural lens. We will begin with a brief orientation on the history of PreHispanic aesthetics and beauty. Then a brief drawing or painting demonstration will be given. Then students will choose their favorite topic, portrait, still life or landscape. Students can also choose drawing, pastels or watercolors or oils. Maestra Isis, will be available to assist and troubleshoot. At the end of class, students will enjoy an art work that they can take home and frame as a beautiful memory of their experience! Students that choose oils, will need to book 2 days. All equipment, models, and or photos, and art materials are included.
