The sanctuary of Olympia extends over a bewitching landscape lying at the feet of the Kronius Hill. This made it an ideal location for the Olympic Games which were held every four years to honour Zeus. Once you are there, you will visit the temple of Zeus which housed one of the seven wonders of the world and the temple of Hera where the Olympic torch is lit. The Archaeological Museum displays world known works of ancient art and exhibits from the Classical Period, the famous pediments from the temple of Zeus, Nike of Paionios and Hermes of Praxiteles.

Just a breath away from the museum and the ruins in Olympia, you can meet Klio and her mother on her farm.
