Your friendly driver will come to pick you up in your Beijing City Hotel's lobby at your preferred time.Then take you to Summer Palace directly. 

Upon arrival, you will start your self-guided tour of the Summer Palace.You can take the paddle boat on Kunming Lake in the summer time;explore the Buddhist temples on top of the Longevity Mountain;walk around the palaces and gardens, check out the beautiful paintings along the Long Corridor etc.

You can choose to use 4 hour half day or 6-8 hour full day transfer service to discover this UNESCO World Culture Heritage site at your own pace.Your driver can come back to pick you up at your pointed schedule. Of course, you can add-on a friendly guide service upon booking, your guide will explore the palace with you, tell the histories and stories along the way,take photos or assist you to watch your kids for you during the day. 

The tour operator cannot guarantee an English-speaking driver. Due to their availability, you may have a Chinese speaking driver, but they know exactly where to pick you up and where to drop you off. Guest can use their phone to call local operator if need during the ride(if you choose to use the transfer service only)
