Chef Takayama's restaurant "Japanese Cuisine Takayama" can accommodate up to
18 guests at the same time, ensuring top-notch hospitality and cuisine.
The atmosphere of this restaurant in Hiroshima is warm, with soft amber
lighting and an L-shaped solid wood bar surrounding the open kitchen, the
chef’s stage. The bar area can accommodate up to 12 guests, who can easily
chat with the chef and watch him carefully prepare each dish. Chef Takayama
uses Hiroshima's local ingredients and abundant seafood to create innovative
dishes that stimulate all five senses.
Chef Takayama started learning from the famous chef Toshiro Kandagawa at the
age of 15. Chef Kandagawa once competed in the famous Japanese TV show "Iron
Chef". After completing his studies, Chef Takayama became the chef of Miyajima
Kinsuikan and Clayton Bay Hotel, and opened "Japanese Cuisine Takayama" in
