If you’re an experienced sledder and want to test your ability while exploring new terrain, let us take you where we ride on our days off.
We’ll show you how to play safely in the mountain terrain while you explore some amazing sledding areas. This is not a follow-the-leader type trip; we’ll take you on an adventure! Each day your experienced guide will take you out for an advanced snowmobiling expedition.
Depending on weather and ground conditions, our guide will decide where it’s best to go each day. By doing this, we can offer you the best day possible of snowmobiling adventure. You’re guaranteed to find the best snow and least crowded trails!
All our guides are fully trained in First Aid and Avalanche Terrain and Rescue.
Groups are kept small, 5 sleds per guide so the trip moves right along.

24 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe depart from Reykjavík in the morning and head to Landmannalaugar area, having a lovely drive in Iceland's beautiful landscape. When up on the highlands your expert snowmobile guide gives a short briefing on how to safely operate the snowmobiles. We then go for a few hours of awesome riding! We then reach our mountain hut in the Landmannalaugar area, Hrafntinnusker. There your guide cooks a traditional mountain BBQ and tells you fun stories. After a lovely night we rest for a big snowmobiling day tomorrow. 18 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeNow the sun has come up and our day begins. After breakfast your expert snowmobile guide lays out the plan for the day. Then after a great day of snowmobiling we head on towards our pick up vehicle, which will drive us to Reykjavík. We expect to be back in Reykjavík in the evening. If your accommodation is not in Reykjavík we can arrange pick up/drop off from/to other places. Note that pick up/drop off from/to other places might be charged for if the distance is further than Reykjavík. Please contact us for more information. Our guides are locals with years of experience.
