We continue our walk until we reach the Butcher’s Guild, built by Elias Holl, the master architect who designed the most important buildings during Augsburg’s golden age, the 17th century. We stop at the St. Peter am Perlach Church to take a look at the painting of Mary untie of knots, a unique depiction of the virgin Mary and a site of pilgrimage for believers around the world.Zeughaus
