Show was mesmerizing and the underwater theatrics was captivating. Booking through Pelago only offered a fixed dinner menu (unable to choose the starters/main), but was great nonetheless.

This activity was supposed to include the Jungle Safari however, on arrival we were informed that the Jungle Safari was not included. This then became a purely a Varuna show ticket, which in comparison is more expensive that the Varuna show ticket advertised on Bali Safari’s website. This definitely marred our overall experience. The Varuna show, however, was a saving grace. It was a full production and very beautifully executed. The kids were super excited to see “mermaids” during the show and also for the photo op after the show. Be mindful that although doors open at 12.30pm, there is a band that will play all the way till 1.40pm, during the food service. The show itself only began at around 1.40pm.
I purchased 12 tickets for 12 adults and 1 infant (FOC) for the Varuna Underwater Show: Deluxe Package, specifically selecting the evening dinner option. However, when we arrived on 21 Nov (Friday), we were denied entry. Taman Safari informed us that our booking was for the afternoon session, not the evening, and that we had missed all activities. I made it clear this was incorrect, as I had purchased the evening dinner package. After a lengthy delay, Taman Safari kindly allowed us to attend the Varuna Underwater Show and dinner, 4 out of 11 activities indicated in Pelago's website. Taman Safari explained that the Safari Journey is situated in another location and a separate experience, and was never part of the Varuna package. This contradicts the information on Pelago’s website. I specifically booked through Pelago because the listed inclusions offered both the Safari and Varuna experiences together, which justified the higher cost compared to booking directly via Taman Safari’s site. Taman Safari advised that this misinformation originated from Pelago, and that I should resolve this discrepancy directly with you. I have requested a 50% refund of the amount paid since half of the published activities were not available. Pending Pelago's action.
