Deanston Distillery is on the banks of the River Teith and started life back in 1785 as a cotton mill until 1966 where it transformed into today's distillery, the only distillery in Scotland to be self-sufficient in electricity with its power coming from the River Teith. Loch Lubnaig is a stunning located stretch of freshwater nestling between two striking mountains, Ben Ledi and Benvane to the south-west and Ben Vorlich to the north-east. A bird’s eye view of the loch, reveals how it came by its name, for Lùbnaig means crooked in Gaelic. Stop for some photos of this beautiful Scottish Loch and take a walk along its banks, there is plenty of nature around you so make sure you bring your camera. Mobility: Easy
