After breakfast, enjoy bird watching around the lodge and surrounding forest, followed by the Wepathana Walk through lush nature. Continue with a refreshing waterfall swim, then take part in a village walk to experience local life, ending with a relaxing river bath.

If you’re an adventure enthusiast and a waterfall lover, this experience is perfect for you. This spectacular cluster of seven waterfalls rises to nearly 100 meters in height. After an early morning drive of approximately one hour, the trek begins at the base of the first waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip before the real adventure starts. The steep ascent takes you in and out of cascading waterfalls, climbing alongside them through dense forest terrain. Upon reaching the top of the final waterfall, known as Kotanganga, you are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Kandyan Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed here, along with an optional refreshing dip in the natural pools. After a short rest, the descent continues through the dense Knuckles Forest towards Thangappuwa. This scenic trek covers approximately 7 km and concludes at a traditional line-house, where a jeep will be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Anamaduwa. On arrival, you will check in to the Mudhouse. All locally guided excursions and activities for the duration of the stay are provided free of charge. These may change depending on the season or other local factors but a range will always be offered, including: picnic trips, temple visits, bird watching walks, nature trails, lake kayaking, local historical sights and cooking lessons.

After breakfast, you will be able to enjoy one of the activities as per your choice. It will be another interesting day for you with some unique experiences.

As all good things come to an end, you will be safely driven to the airport for your flight back home having sweet memories of the tour with Beyond Escapes!
