The walk offers stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape and is a rewarding addition to your 2-day Kilimanjaro hiking tour. Your guide will assess your pace, fitness, and overall condition and recommend the best option for the hike, ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable experience. After exploring Maundi Crater, you will return to Mandara Hut, where your cook will prepare a delicious lunch. Once you have rested and enjoyed your meal, you will begin the descent through the lush Kilimanjaro rainforest toward Marangu Gate. The descent provides another opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Marangu Route. At Marangu Gate, your driver will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you comfortably back to your hotel.
