Slow down and savour the tactile experience of of putting ink to paper. Enjoy the meditative process of writing again through journalling and calligraphy. A time to take your mind off things and let your hands create.
With the increasing exposure to screen time, calligraphy is wonderful way to disconnect with technology and reconnect with ourselves by being present.
The workshop starts with a short session of gratitude journalling. Reflection and writing provides an outlet for processing what is within, bringing clarity and new perspectives.
There will be lots of hands-on practice and structured step-by-step guidance. Taught in a relaxed manner, this workshop is a wonderful way to reconnect with your soul and with others in real time. You will take home a small framed memento of your hand-written word.

- How to use the traditional dip pen
- Simple exercises to warm up and understand how the nib works

Every last Sunday of the month, 2:00PM-4:30PM
All materials are provided. You may choose to avoid wearing light coloured clothes in case of any ink stain. You may also bring your own reusable bag to take home the materials.
You can bring all materials home.

The class was really fun! Instructor Joanne was super friendly, patient and experienced, guiding us through the steps one by one to refine our calligraphy font. I left with a new skill that I'm so excited to keep practicing, and also enjoyed the time spent to slow down, express gratitude for the abundance of life, and just have a healing afternoon overall!
