Highlights
As we grew up in the area, we have excellent knowledge about the jungle and the animals who live in the Gunung Leuser National Park. You will get the chance to see some rare species of animals including the orangutan. Besides the beauty of the jungle, we offer some extreme fun as well by tubing the river as the final part of your jungle trek. We will fully guide you on your jungle trek to make sure you have an unforgettable experience.
Itinerary
Day One
Gunung Leuser National Park
24 hoursAdmission Ticket FreePick up at your accommodation in Bukit Lawang at 9:00 am. You will be hiking for around 5-6 hours. Exploring the jungle, with explanations from your guide about the area, the plants and the animals, you will encounter. Plenty of opportunity for taking pictures. If you are lucky, you will be able to see Orangutans, Macaques, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys and Hornbills. A lunch stop and snacks are included. In the late afternoon we will arrive at the campsite located near the river, where you can swim, relax and get some refreshment. Day Two
Gunung Leuser National Park
6 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeOn day two we start with a good breakfast with tea or coffee by the river. We will go on a shorter hike and visit a waterfall. You will have the opportunity again to encounter some of the rare animals living in the National Park. A lunch stop is included.
