Our driver will meet you at any places of the Fenghuang area at 7:00am,  Guilin is 400KM away from Fenghuang, The journey takes 12 hours by private car, because we need to stop at the Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town & Chengyang Dong Village area.

Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town is located in Yuanshui river, Wushui water confluence, it originated in the Spring and Autumn dynasty, forming in the Tang dynasty, the heyday in Ming dynasty, and it is the best preserved ancient building group. Now according to expert textual research, is still well preserved Honhjiang ancient commercial town of Ming and Qing ancient architectural structures, such as monasteries, basement houses, money shops, trade firm, foreign firm, workshops, shops, inns, brothel, newspaper, such as more than 380 buildings, with a total area of about 200000 square meters.

The ChengYang Dong village is located in the northern part of SanJiang County, bordering Guizhou to the northwest and Hunan to the northeast. Chengyang Village is made up of 8 small villages. You will enjoy many Wind and Rain Bridges, Drum-Towers, traditional wooden houses, rice fields, bamboo water wheels, villager dance and song performance during your visit here, you may also go and see the traditional Dong homes and carpenter’s family, savor local dishes, and learn about the ancient customs of the Dong people as well.
Itinerary:
7:00am--9:30am: Fenghuang hotel pick up & transfer to Hongjiang.
9:30--12:30pm: Visit the Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town & have a lunch there.
12:30--16:00pm: Transfer to Chengyang Dong village.
16:00--17:30: Visit the Chengyang Wind & Rain bridge and Dong villages.
17:30--19:30: Back to Guilin or Yangshuo hotel.
