The “Ee Kippu” is a 1-day unlimited ride ticket for the Eizan Railway.
Starting from Demachiyanagi Station, which is close to Kyoto Imperial Palace and Shimogamo Shrine, the railway line heads north and passes by many historical sites such as Kifune Shrine and Kurama-dera Temple. Along the route, you can enjoy the seasonal beauty of nature including fresh greenery in spring, riverside dining in summer, colorful autumn leaves, and snowy landscapes in winter.
You can also use this ticket to ride the “Kirara” scenic train toward Kibuneguchi and Kurama Stations, offering panoramic views of the changing scenery, as well as the “Hiei” sightseeing train toward Yase-Hieizan-guchi Station.
