We will explore the South Valley, a spectacular and less-common valley you won't regret visiting! We will start with Andahuaylillas Church, the Sistine Chapel of America, an amazing representation of art and architecture. Then, we will head to Pikillacta, a walled city from the Wari culture. Our final stop is Tipon, a wonderful example of both hydraulic and agricultural engeneering. After the tour, we will head back to Cusco City Center and you will have a free evening to see some museums and explore more of this beautiful city!

After a great breakfast in your hotel, we will pick you up to start our tour and drive along scenic roads to the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Pisac Market, a colorful typical market full of beautiful souvenirs and hanmade handicrafts. Then, we will go into Pisac ruins, one of the largest groups of terraces and the only cemetery with over 5,000 niches! After this walk, we will go to Urubamba for lunch, you will try several dishes in this buffet featuring our delicious Peruvian food. Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo, an old Inca fortified village where we will observe some of the best examples of Inca architecture in the region. Surviving structures here include multiple walls and towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible invasions.

After an early rise, you will board the train from the Ollantaytambo Station heading to Aguas Calientes. This train journey is a spectacle in itself! You will be able to appreciate the Peru’s immense biodiversity, as you witness the landscape transition from Andean green fields to lush rainforest, descending along the Urubamba River. Upon arrival to the Aguas Calientes train station, you will take a 20 minute bus ride up to the spectacular site of Machu Picchu. You will explore this enigmatic sanctuary where your expert guide will lead you through the ruins, providing archaeological and historical information on key areas of interest. You will appreciate the most amazing views from the top of this citadel! This is an opportunity to revel in the energy and atmosphere of one of the most significant and spectacular archaeological sites of the world, set high in the cloud forest. You will also have the opportunity to see Llamas walking around in their natural environment. After descending to Aguas Calientes, you will have some free time for lunch, and wander through this picturesque town. In the afternoon, you will board the return train to the Ollantaytambo Station, where one of our representatives will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Start the day with a tasty breakfast! Today, you will explore Maras & Moray. En route, you will have one of the best panoramic views of the valley. First, we will stop at the ancient salt mines, near the town of Maras, then, the huge circular agricultural terraces at Moray built by the Incas in natural sinkholes on a plateau overlooking the Urubamba Valley. We will be back in Cusco and at a set time according to your schedule, we will drive you to the airport to say goodbye and take your flight to your next destination! *You can book a flight departing from Cusco at 16:00 - 20:00
