Itinerary
Day 1
Manaure
9 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeIn this 3-day journey, our guide and the driver will pick you up in your hotel in Santa Marta and drive you for less than 3 hours to the first destination: Riohacha, the capital of La Guajira. This place is home for indigenous communities of Santa Marta’s Sierra Nevada (this mountain range covers part of La Guajira department) as well as for Wayuu people, the largest indigenous population in the country. Actually, as soon as we get to La Guajira it will be common to find them, as they inhabit along the desert. Besides going to Riohacha, we will visit Manaure, known for the artisanal sea salt extraction method. Day 2
Punta Gallinas

Day 3
Dunas de Taroa
