After breakfast, drive down to the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive at the Hotel in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent on another exciting game run in the Park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. After breakfast, we drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. This enormous Reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today and tomorrow during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. After breakfast this morning, enjoy a game drive. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is also evident here look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, lions, and in season the spectacular migration of the wildebeest. In late afternoon we venture out in another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will thrill to the huge jungle cats lion, leopard and cheetah just watching the world go by.

A lovely drive takes us to Ngorongoro Crater, where our lodge sits dramatically on the rim of the crater, revealing an awesome panorama of the world’s largest, unflooded and unbroken caldera. After breakfast, we drive to the Kenya -Tanzania border at Namanga, where we clear customs formalities. We arrive into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant in time for lunch. Amboseli is big game country: Lion, Cheetah antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe. The afternoon game drive en-route is planned to introduce you to intense beauty and drama that fill each day here. Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons.
