Our English speaking driver will take you directly to the UNESCO village of Shirakawago, You will spend 2 and half hours here. Crossing the spectacular pedestrian bridge across the Sho river, your senses will be filled with the sounds and smells of authentic rural life. This fairy-tale village is bound to inspire you as one of Japans most picturesque sites.

Your group will then be whisked off to the canal lined streets of Hida-Furukawa. Your group will spend 1 hours here, exploring the town and taking in lunch. This once significant outpost during the Edo period is rich in architectural history. Famous for its timber craftsmanship and rowdy festivals this village is a rare gem among the towns and villages of this mountainous region.

Next stop is Takayama, you will spend 2 hours here exploring this beautifully preserved old town, famous in Japan for carpentry and Sake brewing. Takayama prospered during the Edo period and this is evident in its layout, beautiful buildings and cultural preservation.
