You'll depart just after noon from Oltursa bus station in Huaraz. Your trip passes across the highlands with beautiful views on to the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra. The journey's highest point is Conococha, at 4500 meters, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the mountain range. Next, you'll descend through the valley of Fortaleza to reach the Panamerican highway at sea level.
