Located in Gangwon-do, South Korea, Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort is one of the
most popular ski destinations near the capital area, renowned for its
excellent facilities, convenient transportation, and beginner-friendly
environment.
The ski resort features a total of 10 slopes, 8 of which are designed for
beginners and intermediates. With relatively gentle gradients, they are
perfect for first-time skiers, families, and casual visitors. Advanced slopes
are also available to meet the needs of skiers of all levels.
To ensure beginners can enjoy skiing with peace of mind, the resort provides
comprehensive safety and service facilities, including dedicated counters for
ski equipment rental, chairlift anti-fall systems, safety barriers, impact-
absorbing pads, and on-site ski patrol and rescue teams to safeguard every
visitor.
In addition, the resort features a beginner practice area and dedicated
teaching slopes for the ski school, allowing first-timers to learn step-by-
step with ease. Beginner and intermediate skiers can also take the B chairlift
to the mountain top rest area to enjoy the beautiful winter scenery of
Gangwon-do while experiencing the thrill of skiing.
Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort also offers flexible ticket options and facility
usage, allowing visitors to customize their skiing experience according to
their needs.
- Snow Condition Notice
From late February onwards, as temperatures gradually rise, snow quality may
become unstable. Please pay attention to relevant information before booking.
In March, weather conditions have a significant impact and snow conditions may
continue to change. We recommend that travelers carefully evaluate their plans
before booking.
If the ski resort cannot operate normally due to poor snow conditions, the
supplier may notify you of a cancellation before departure. Please be sure to
check for notifications the day before your scheduled visit.

- All ski tours include basic ski lessons. Those who do not participate in the lessons will be considered as having waived them, and no compensation or refund can be requested.
- If the itinerary is changed or canceled due to traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors, please contact customer service, and we will handle the subsequent procedures for you.

- Please be sure to arrive at the designated location 10 minutes in advance. To avoid delaying subsequent schedules, late arrivals will not be waited for.
