Seven Traditional Arts Experience (Conducted in Japanese)

• Regular Performance

【Kyo-mai】Originating in Kyoto, Kyo-mai is an elegant and gorgeous dance
performed by Maiko and Geiko (in Kyoto, geisha are referred to as Geiko)
dressed in beautiful costumes.

【Tea Ceremony】An art form centered on the ritual of boiling water, preparing
tea, and serving it, featuring a chair-based style that is easily accessible
to international visitors.

【Ikebana】An art form that involves arranging flowers and various materials for
appreciation.

【Koto】A traditional Japanese musical instrument with 6 strings, played by
plucking with ivory plectra worn on the fingers to create beautiful harmonies.

【Gagaku】Ancient Japanese music and dance performed in imperial courts,
shrines, and temples; visitors can enjoy both the music and the dance.

【Kyogen】A form of traditional comedy that depicts scenes from past daily life
