Highlights
We pick you up at your hotel or lodging! A seasoned local guide will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square) or will meet you at the Asheville Visitor Center if you are staying outside that distance. The excursion will take you through beautiful mountain scenery on the way to visit three impressive waterfalls and two protected forests as well as a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) to discover the amazing views surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks.
We provide comfortable seating in a climate controlled van. Drinks/snacks are included.
IMPORTANT Guest should be prepared for walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over a period of 2 hours, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. The tour is not suitable for children under 12.
We will return to Asheville by approximately 1:30 p.m.

Along the way you'll listen to interesting stories about the rich history of the area that has been attracting people to the area for generations.DuPont State Recreational Forest
2 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedWear comfortable shoes or hiking boots for the approximately 3 mile hiking portion of the tour on trails rated easy to moderate. There are stops along the way that will give you time to enjoy falls, a snack and drink that are included. Bring a small day pack if you have one. Your tour concludes with transport back to your hotel, leaving you the rest of the afternoon to enjoy at your leisure.
